My recent Experience with Social Media
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about social media and its affect on me, and to be honest, I think it has been more negative than it has been positive. What used to feel like inspiration has recently turned more into distraction. I constantly catch myself scrolling without purpose. It takes me away from things I actually care about like filming, editing videos, learning new skills, or just being present in real life. It’s frustrating because I know I’m wasting time, but I still end up doing it. It has started to feel less like a choice and more like a bad habit I have formed over the years. The hardest part for me is the thought of missing out on friends posts and texts from friends I might not see. Part of me wants to delete everything and walk away. But another part of me knows that social media is almost required for what I want to do in life which is travel videography and marketing.
